Best European Cities To Visit In November
Do you fancy a city gateway in Europe? These are my favorite cities, especially at this time of the year. You’ll enjoy them more than in the summertime. It’ll be quieter and cheaper, and the weather is usually perfect.
7. Seville
Seville is hands down one of my top 3 favorite cities in Europe. It’s one of the cities where you can still walk around with light summer clothes. I visited it in December, and it was perfect.
The city has a rich history and culture, and you can admire three different ethnical districts: Christian, Muslim, and Jewish. It’s amazing how these three groups managed to live together.
Nowadays, you can see different architectural styles and enjoy the bustling streets with Spanish delicacies.
November is also a great time to make this southern Spain road trip itinerary and visit even more beautiful places in Andalusia.

Barcelona is always a good choice for a city gateway, no matter the time of the year. It attracts visitors all year round, and November is not an exception. I lived in the city for a year, and November was one of my favorite months.
It’s calm, yet many events are still happening. If you don’t know where to go, you’ll be amazed by Barcelona in November. It’ll give you a great mixture of sightseeing, delicious food and drinks, and you can even go swimming and spend some time on the beach.

Helsinki doesn’t get a lot of pride, which is a shame. When I visited the city, I had the same feelings about this place on my first day. I thought, ough, this city is strange, with not many nice sights, what will I do here? But then I did a guided tour andβ¦ I changed my mind.
Helsinki is an exciting city and deserves more recognition. It’s all about the experiences. You can learn about the interesting history, taste local cuisine with tradition in the Restaurant Savotta, and warm up in the Finish sauna (I recommend LΓΆyly).
Besides, Fins are the happiest people in the world, so we have something to learn from them. Come visit Helsinki and hear stories from locals.

I could spend my life in the Swiss mountains. It’s a great place to be even in November, but check out the weather forecast before visiting. It might be gloomy and rainy, and the first snow falls. But it’s one of the best places in Europe in November to enjoy nature and mountains.

Tromso is the best city in Norway you can visit in November and the wintertime. It’s like the city awakes in winter. Many excursions start to see the polar light or visit the Sami inhabitants in northern Norway.
