Greece is one of my favorite European destinations. It’s mainly because of the unique culture and delicious food. It has a mixture of an ancient vibe and a modern touch.
I’ve visited Greece many times thanks to my job as a tour manager guiding US travel groups through Europe. Our last destination is always Greece.
After I say goodbye to my groups, I love to stay in the country and explore its gems. So, one day, I created an itinerary and explored the entire Greek mainland. After another tour, I took a ferry to a remote island, Sifnos, and enjoyed Greek culture.

Athens
Athens, the capital city of Greece, is very different from other European cities. It almost has some Asian influence with its bustling streets and markets. I absolutely love the city, and my excitement never fades away, even though I’ve visited it over 10 times.
