Learning languages for travel isn’t only a lot of fun; it also significantly improves the lives of travelers.

Over the past 11 years, I’ve lived on the road as a tour guide, guiding many US, Canadian, UK, and Ocean groups through Europe. I’ve also lived in five different countries (Slovakia, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, and Italy).

My life on the road has shown me how important it is to speak foreign languages. Not only do they make your life a lot easier, but you’ll also get closer to locals, make new friends and business contacts, become more open-minded, and gain more opportunities than you would without knowing them.
